Glue+Scissors+Cloth+Old Miniblind=Roman Shade!

Took about 45 minutes total, but Shawn was a big help. He was able to visualize the whole thing a little better than I was. This is our back door which never gets used, at the bottom of a very crowded little staircase. The blind on that door had gotten caught in the door at some point leaving a big square where all of the slats were out and someone could easily see in. (If they came behind our gate to do so!) Saw this idea and figured I would give it a shot. Directions can be found here.

Good job....Mr. and Mrs. Martha Stewart. You made it sound easy but when I looked at the instructions on Little Green Notebook, I knew I wouldn't be doing it anytime soon. I like how Jenny's burlap fabric lets the light in.

How cute is this? and I love that it uses old mini blinds. What a great idea.
