No!

126_au

For the next few weeks we will be looking at he word NO as we prepare for Advent.  Some years ago, we as a church began to embrace a Reclaiming Christmas project that seeks to pull Christmas away from the commercial machine that seeks to consume the true meaning of Christmas.

We will also be looking at other things we need to say no to, and will hone our nay-saying skills together.

I’m needing this week to say a big, “Heck NO” to my work life creeping into my real life.  I’ve been turning my phone off in the evenings and believing that indeed the world can continue to turn if I am not consulted about the details.

What is it that you are wanting/needing to say, “NO” to today?

I need to be saying no to myself. "No, Donna, you do not need to be thinking/worrying about your parents all of your waking hours and even some of the sleeping hours."

Sue, I'll be looking forward to what you have to tell us about the word NO over the next few weeks.
